Hypothetical Question / Success Stories

So you've made your goal weight, exceeded your goal weight, had PS to correct any sagging, happy, healthy and forever committed to eating right and exercising. Free surgeries are being offered to REMOVE your band, do you take it out, do you leave it in and why.

Alas I do not, I have dumped all the good stuff in advance so I can get results like you have.

Cop groupie? Hmmmm, just so you know after I unload some baggage and get back to Texas I'm joining the Highway Patrol :frown::wink2:

reall are you going to be dan the man like i said ....

I'm gonna keep it under wraps for now but it should fit me well.

Im going to opt to keep my band because all my millions of shrunken fat cells are just sitting there waiting to reinflate themsevles should i have the capability eat like i formerly could. GASP!

Definitely would keep mine just to avert the binge temptations. I could eat box after box of girlscout Cookies. Damn I love those thin mints!

I might end up getting a partial unfill when I get to goal just so I can have some foods that I can't right now.

Brad

reading this (i'm so new i haven't even had a consult yet) makes me think more and more that i'm doing the right thing.

yummmmmmmmm thin mints....

Ah Ha! You fell for the diabolical trap I set, you are now ineligible for the band, GET OUT!

that's what i've been doing brad. finding the least amt of fill needed for maintenance. no food/drink is off limits right now & don't plan to change/fix what's not broken....keeping the band for as long as i can.

NEVER EVER have that removed. It removed my hunger... without it, the weight would come right back. If I were to have band issues and need it removed, I'd immediately revise to a sleeve. No questions.

Will keep it, because it works for me. Damn those evil cookies from the girl scouts.
