1st post op appt

I went to my first post op appointment and they were very pleased with my progress. I'm down 15 pounds since surgery. It was decided that I did not need a fill today because the doctor put on a band that fits snugly, so I actually have restriction right now, just with the band itself. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I have an appt scheduled in 2 weeks in case I need a fill, but the NP said that if I am still doing the same progress, I can cancel and schedule it for another 2 weeks out (or whenever I need it). They seem like they are very open to the patient's opinion on whether or not they need a fill. She also said that you have to wait 2 weeks between fills, so if I wasn't filled enough, I don't have to wait a whole month. So far, I'm very happy with my band. :)
