New guy starting journey

Hey everyone. I am Derek..age 29 and 305 lbs. I am ready to do something permanant about my weight. I have never been a regular weight and yo-yo ing for years. I go to my seminar Wednesday and I can't wait. Hope to hear from you all. Any 20-something guys that have gone through this? Would love to hear about it from a young guys perspective.
