Hi there, just looking to talk to people who have had the lap band put in and what their experiences are/were like. Both good and bad. I want to know all the stuff that doctors don't necessarily tell you. I'd like info from real people who've done weither it's good or bad.

Hi Amy,

I was banded the same day as you. Congrats!!!!

There is a thread with just people banded on 1/23. There is a good # of us. Feel free to come and join.

Thanks all for the congrats and the invite.

I was sore at first, but am feeling better now, and still convinced that I did the right thing.

Overall not a bad experience so far, except for the C02 they pump into you. Now there was some not fun pain, but it has just about dissipated.

Hi Amy,
