What a pleasant side effect!!

I STOPPED BITING MY NAILS!!! I have no idea why but since I have been banded I have not bitten my nails or my cuticles. I have always bitten my nails for as long as I can remember, I mean super bad, made them bleed on occasion, bad. Now, 5 weeks post-op, my nails are long enough to actually get a manicure. hehe  The only thing I can think of is that I am so conscious of everything that goes in my mouth it just doesn't happen anymore. Anybody else?

Well done OneHotMama! I have never bitten my nails but I can imagine that you would be worried about a nail going down and getting stuck:eek: It is another thing that will help you look great! Now go and treat yourself to that manicure, you deserve it!
