Question for the ladies ..

I HATE PMS lol. About a week before I start ,I typically gain about 4 pounds and don't lose it again until about a day after I start ,I hate it and on top of that I crave salty stuff. Ugh.

Do any of you have suggestions on how you deal with the pms weight gain and cravings?

Thank you ! :)

I gain about 4-5 pounds during that time of the month. Usually starts the week before my period and continues until my period ends. It drives me crazy. Both my ob/gyn and regular doctor just say that I have to bear it. They will not give me fluid pills or anything. It is just so frustrating because no matter what I do, the water retention weight will not subside and even after my period is over, I just go back to my pre-period weight even with exercising and following the rules. So that means I only get 2 weeks out of every month to officially lose any weight. I tried to explain this to my docs but their only suggestion is to just not weigh. I don't have high blood pressure or any real reason for them to prescribe fluid pills so they won't give me any. Just seems so unfair.

Hi Crishell! You described EXACTLY the same issue I have to a T . It drives me nuts as well and it's true,I tend to only feel like i'm losing weight for about 2 weeks out of the month. It is very frustrating !!
