I was banded April 1st in Monterrey,Mex.Best decision ever.I am in So. Texas so I drove down and drove back 4 days later. As I progressed the few discomforts are no comparison to the results.I have lost right at 100 lbs and am driving to monterrey for a fill and check up with the cardiologist next week. The gas and burping still come and go but nothing like in the beginning.I also read one or more questions about plugging up,I have learned it is a lot easier to excuse myself and go stick my finger down my throat to unplug. The first few bites are very important.

After all these months breakfast is still the toughest.Message to all expectants I hardly new anything was going on if not for the itchines of the little incisions healing.

Hope I can help anybody thinking about doing this surgery.

ALSO, I don't know if they will do it here in the states, but my dr asked about my acid reflux which I had taken Prilosec and Prevacid for years and while he was doing my band he fixed my lining of the esophagus for free. No heartburn since April 1st.This was worth the money.

Welcome to LapBandTalk?

Who did you go to in Monterrey? I was looking at Dr. Rumblaut at one point but decided to get a sleeve instead of a band and to stay local.
