It gets better! You will be thrilled when you get to full liquids, and then your first mushy meal will be the best food you have ever tasted. At least that's how it was for me. I had a scrambled egg, and it was the best scrambled egg I have ever eaten in my entire life!

It does get better, you will be on "normal food" soon enough. Keep up the pace and get as much fluid and protein as you can. I actually switched to soy protein cause the whey stuff made me nauseous.
