:wink2: I was referred to Dr Kennedy in the Royal Victoria last year for the Gastric Band. To my surprise i was told after 3wks of waiting to hear that the funding was pulled out of Northern Ireland.

Of course I was angry but I have heard people have managed to have this operation done through Mr Kennedy to date. How could this be??? I am still being told that funding is not available.

Does any1 know how I can get NHS Funding to have this done????

Any advise would be appreciated.

Have you asked in the Ireland forum? It's possible those other people paid with their own money, but maybe someone banded by Dr. Kennedy posts here.
