colonoscopy, anyone?

I am slated to start drinking the poison in an hour or so. I am worried that I wil not be able to drink it all since I have the band.

Anyone having one since the band wil know what the above means. Anyone?

Thanks.

Hi - I had my first colonoscopy a few days after Christmas. It's liquid, so it flows right through the band, no problem. You'll just be sick of the stuff towards the end of the gallon.

My doctor told me that I could half everything since we have a smaller intake than most adults. You might ask!

I had mine before being banded. I held my nose each time I had to drink that stuff. Even the thought of it now... blah! I don't remember it being extremly thick. But I drank it quickly so it was kind of like chugging each time. I don't think we can do that with the band though.

Good Luck,

cheryl
