Hello from Kansas

Hi All,

I was banded on 1-5-09 and so far am doing wonderful.

The pain the first couple days was pretty intense, but it seems to have subsided, all but a side ache (my Dr. says it's my body trying to get use to the band.

I've lost 16 pounds so far and am soo excited for this journey to unfold.

I feel like I have a reason to live again. I'm excited to get up each morning, I want to do things and my energy level is absolutely through the roof!
