Milwaukee Wi. w/ Dr. Wallace??

Hi, I'm new, I've been lurking for a little while. I live in Milwaukee with my Husband and 7mo old son, been trying to loose weight for some time with no success (obviously, that's why I'm here!) I go to the consultation meeting 1/21 and then meet with my surgeon 2/1. What else can I expect and has anyone had any doubts about their bands?? Oh, and how much do you usually loose the first month NOT including what you had to loose for the surgery?? Thanks (:

Hi, I was just banded Dec. 30 in Milwaukee (not your Doc though). So far I have lost about 12-16 pounds. I definitely had doubts, I still have moments when I think "Oh my gosh I hope I did the right thing". I'm only two weeks out, and every day I feel better and better. Physically I feel 98% healed, but now that I'm feeling so good I miss eating! I know this was the right choice for me, make the choice that is right for you. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them with my limited knowledge! GOOD LUCK:thumbup:

So after my consultation on the 21st I see the surgeon on the 1st of Feb, how long is it usually after that, that I have to wait before getting the surgery? My husband works for the Medical College of Wisconsin and my pcp said I was definately going to get the surgery because they work together or something (my insurance and the MCW that is)
