Quick ? for anyone who might know. I've been having some pain around the area where my port is. Also near on and around the incision area for the port. It's not red or anything like that so I don't think that it's infected but I don't know for sure. It just hurts. It hurts to twist a certain way or to bed over or touching it hurts. Does anybody know what could be causing this? I see my dr on Feb 4th but I'm wondering if I need to try and get in to see him sooner. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

When were you banded? Call your doc, describe the symtoms, see what he (or his staff) says! We all heal differently; what was true for someone else on here isn't necessarily true for you. If you're in pain, find out why!

I agree with RestlessMonkey, and you will never be sure until they see you, poke and prod at you :cursing: I understand pain around the port, I had a port revision due to a problem with pain that I had with mine.
