Just Banded

Hello to all. I was banded on 12/9/08. All incisions are healed and I have no pain. I am REALLY hungry, though. I have a fill scheduled on 1/3/09, and am hopeful that will help. I lost 10 pounds while on liquids and am on a general diet now. Anyone with tips or hints?

Yes, keep measuring your food intake. I made the mistake of trying to guess when I'm full. It's very hard for me to try and guess. Plus, the doctor wants to know how much your eating, if you could eat more or less, if your still hungry. At least if your measuring and keeping a journal, you have the exact answers he's looking for especially when it comes to you needing a fill or not. I felt much better measuring my food. After that you wait a bit to see if you still feel hungry. Just easier to gauge.
