Nagging cough

Has anyone else had a problem with a nagging dry cough after surgery? I am about 3 months post-op now and I have started to get a dry unproductive cough mainly at night when I sit or lie down, let me know if anyone else has this problem, I am going in for a second adjustment Feb 2 and will speak to my Dr about it then, Thanks!!:w00t::blink::w00t:

Are you sure it isn't acid reflux? It can make you cough and usually happens when you lie down.

Well I can't be positive it's not acid reflux but I do take a prilosec everyday so I wouldnt think its that, but I'm no doctor, maybe im just getting sick?

Could be...or allergies! Since it's just at night made me think not "sick" because then you'd cough all the time ... or rather, at any time. Allergies if you're allergic to your pillow or bedding or new wash soap or whatever...

acid reflux (with the band) was "go to"! If you have experience with it, though, you'd know if it was that. Maybe the prilosec isn't working for you? Hopefully it's just something in passing! That's entirely possible too!
