my name is Sabrina from Long Island and i am really nervous to start this process i found a doctor and booked an appt at north shore for the jan 12th - i really would like help in any way possible

- 1. how long does it take typically to get a surgery date

- 2. i currently weigh 270 lbs and 5'4 and 24 yrs old - do you

think i could be a canidate for lap band surgery

i am willing to take any input possible .. and if any one is in the LI area i would really love to hear from you - i feel very nervous and alone !

have u had any post op complications ? my aunt had gastric years ago and she has severe stomach issues and gas .
