HI my name is amber i am 20 years old and live in berlin pa. i am going to my first seminar on jan 9th. i am so nervous what to expect. i was just wondering what goes on at these seminars. this is a small town so i hope that i am not the only one going!! i know that sounds dumb but i would love to talk to others in my community that are wanting to get this done to.

The seminars vary but usually there is a presentation of some sort about the different surgery options, how the program works, etc. and a question and answer session. Some have power point and some have handouts and some are very informal. Sometimes the surgeon runs it and at some you never even see the surgeon, and everything in between. Sometimes there will be post-op people there to answer questions too.

Then they'll tell you what the next step is.
