How long have you had your band, and have you had any fills? For me, I have to be very conscience about measuring, because I could overeat otherwise. When I measure, I stop eating when the foods gone (1/2 cup), and I soon feel satisfied. As I get tighter restriction, it seems that the band also puts a strong stop signal. If you haven't any fills, you may be pretty open, so you're not going to get that restrictive stop just yet. Prior to my first fill, I was eating up to one cup of food.

This is what started happening to me too. Please stop now while you can! I now have a dilated esophagas and had to have all fluid out of my band for 6 weeks. I had stretched out my esophagas with to much food. Just try and measure out your portions and you'll be back on track.
