Surgery on Dec. 22nd

Hello, my name is Laura and I am having my surgery on Dec. 22nd. I know, right before Christmas...but this is my Christmas present to myself and my family. My insurance did not cover the surgery. Which is interesting since I am a nurse and you would think that medical employees insurance would realize how much money they would save by covering this surgery. I look forward to learning so much from everyone.

Well good luck with the surgery! I was just banded on Wednesday. I'll still be on pureed foods at Christmas, but I don't care! It was a Christmas gift to myself and eventually a gift to my family. For the first time in 42 years I am putting myself first! I was self pay too and my only regret is that I didn't do this sooner!!

Good luck with the preop diet and the surgery!:wink2:
