Did your doctor say what kind you should be drinking? I use the Atkins shakes and I don't think they are bad at all. I like the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. They are not as easy to find as some and they are not cheap. I'm sure there are people who don't like them, but I do. I still have to have one every day for breakfast. They keep me satisfied until lunch. Good luck to you!! Becky

I got optifast from my doctor but I really like eas carb advantage because they are so much cheaper and taste fine (from walmart). I lost 15 lbs on just those and jello the 2 weeks before my surgery. I'm 1 1/2 weeks post op and could not take one more sweet protein drink so I got Any Whey at GNC I've been putting it in broth and it's been great to have soup instead of a sweet shake. Never thought I'd be sick to death of chocolate and vanilla. hope that helps.

I used the shake my doctor advised me to use.
