Banded Aug 08

Hi, I am new to this web site. I was banded on Aug 29th and I've lost 26 lbs so far. I've been kind of discouraged because I thought that I would have lost more. I lost 16 the first few weeks. I'm still struggling with hunger but I'm having trouble with food getting stuck. I have had 3 fills so far.

Welcome to Lap Band talk. I didn't lose very quickly either. I lost 22 lbs on the post op diet and then nothing for 4 months. I think our bodies need to get used to our new weight before it decides to give up a few more lbs.

Try not to get discouraged. It will come off. Just make sure you chew your food until it's liquid in your mouth. Take itty bitty bites and wait before you take another bite to see how it's going down. I wouldn't get another fill until food stops getting stuck.
