Does Anyone Know!!!

Hi,

I'm waiting to hear from my insurance. Does anyone else have Aetna, and are they reliable as in approving the surgery. I don't know of anyone else with Aetna, so any news would be appreciated. Also how long generally does it take for Aetna to approve?

Thanks,

Bellmama

There are some threads about Aetna in the Insurance forum.

I have Aetna but my company has an exclusion so I had to pay myself!

Thanks, I will check that out. I know Aetna will not cover for the gastric sleeve yet, just the band, but I would really rather have sleeve.

I know some people who have Aetna who were able to get their sleeves approved on appeal. It's worth a try if that's what you want.
