Hello from Arkansas

Hey everyone!! I was banded July 28, 2008 by Dr. Luttrell in Little Rock. Starting weight was 250 and I am now at 215. Just got my third fill and hopefully it will get me through the first of the year. This site has been so helpful in the whole process. Keep up the good advice!!

It's always so nice to hear positive outcomes. I am due to be banded on Nov. 19th and am about the same starting weight as you. To think in 3 1/2 months I could be down that much is very inspiring.

So how in general has your surgery gone? Pretty free and clear of complications?

No complications thus far. I was much more uncomfortable than I had planned for about a week after the surgery. No complaints though. I can handle a week of pain as opposed to a lifetime of knee and back pain. Pick your pain.....right??

No complaints thus far. He has been great through the whole process. His staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Would I do it again??? Yes, it's the best decision I have ever made.
