For those who read my previous post earlier today..I spoke to my friend who had gastric bypass surgery about a year ago. I'm feeling better now about having the surgery...another plus is that I will quit smoking!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!! I call the hospital tomorrow for pre-registration. Not sure how long the process will take before my surgery can be scheduled...but it'll be enough time for me to get the right "mindset" :teeth_smile: Thanks for your support...I'm sure I'll need a lot more as this progresses

I am feeling much, much better too and was banded on 10/06/08. Still a little sore but nothing compare to what it us to be. I have lost 25 lbs. Isn't exciting??? What a journey, so much change, it weird too.
