Greetings from Southwest Florida. I've been reading here for awhile and now I'm pleased to be part of the group. I'm 4 1/2 months into my 6 month diet and am running into a few bumps in the road - hopefully nothing I can't work around. I'm 59 years and 11 months old and holding. Welcome to Band Land! I had my surgery in May and am VERY happy. No regrets at all! I am down 64 lbs this AM. My doc says lose 3 more, I want 11-13 more.

I am also in FL, in Sun City Center just south of Brandon and I am also in the 50's--almost 57--next week. My doc was in St. Pete.

Join the 50's thread--lots of support there. Good luck with your journey.
