The Hotter the Better??

i have had this real strange thing happen lately. Ive always loved spicy foods but ever since just like a week ago, the spicier the better!! Spicy foods is on the no side of my food chart so I dont know what to do!!!! I love them so much. I wonder if im substituting desserts for spicyness to have some control? or if its because im craving flavor! anyhoo the hotter the better i dont know whats up. lol. i had chinese mustard yesterday and i was crying but it was the best thing ever. Did anyone have any changes like this ? It doesnt upset my stomach at all but im wondering if it can do hidden damage i cant feel. Any opinions??

Spicy foods are not restricted for me. I have always loved hot foods but because we can't drink with our meals I try to avoid it...gotta have a drink with the hot stuff!

I did have changes but not for spicy. I crave fish and had never been a real fish eater before.

My doc and nutritionist told me spicy was good for many things when it comes to digestion.

chicamam1, why are you not allowed to have spicy food?

The exact same thing has happened to me! It's kind of like quality over quantity. We can't eat as much anymore, so why not really savor it, right? Salsa has become my best friend; I've discovered that it goes with just about everything and has flavor to boot. The good old fashioned 'comfort food' just doesn't do it for me like it used to.

Jodi - I'm like you - I have gone fish crazy! And I hate fish! lol But for some reason fish is now high on my list of things to eat.
