My Dr. said it was fine to go swimming after 6 weeks.... but check with your dr because he might tellyou differently. I went swimming a couple weeks ago and with no problems.

Swimming is my exercise of choice, less strain on the joints, and my muscles do not hurt the next day. I use water buouys, water weights on my ankles, all kinds of water toys to exercise

Im a "swimmer" too! I think it was 3 weeks before the doctor oked me to swim aftr surgery... call YOUR doctor and check his "rules" before getting into a pool.

Michelle, do you have special Water weights for your ankles, or just regular ankle weights that you wear inthe pool? If they are special, then where did you get them?
