hello, im allysmom i was banded 8/8/08 here in stl. i have been hospitaized 1 time to the er 3 other times with a staph inf. i have my 4th one now. my dr. wont return calls so i have had to go to er for meds has anyone had this problem:confused:

No, That does not sound right I think you should go to the doctors and insist that they do something asap. staph is dangerous not only to you but others around you. Get well soom

Call your doctor again. Tell his nurse that you've been to the ER 3 times and still have infections at your wound sites. Tell her if the doctor can't see you, you'll want your medical records so you can find a physician who is more responsive. That should shake them up.

I assume the staph is at your wound sites?

Yeah, I agree. You really need to put your foot down. This is nothing to take lightly and your doctor should not be ignoring it like that.

I am checking out seminars to be banded in STL, and I am curious what Dr and hospital you have used.
