My Biggest NSV

I ran a mile without stopping...and I could have gone for longer!!!

It felt like it has taken me forever to get to this point. I am really happy because I have never ever been able to run a mile.

My heart health has improved dramatically and that is the greatest gift I can give myself.

That's awesome! I know just what you mean because I've been working up to doing more running and it's just an amazing feeling to realize how far I've come. Keep up the good work.

You are amazing! That is a fantastic NSV. So when is the first 5K going to happen???

You should be very proud. It's quite a gift you've given yourself.

I was planning on doing a 5k in November (this month) but I have to be out of town for work over the weekend of the event.

Anyway, I will set an official date for my 5 k, maybe when it gets warmer.

I have been having some exercise-induced asthma from running, which is something that's never happened to me before and is kinda scary.

That's awesome!! I can't even imagine running (unless it's from a big dog or to a sale, LOL) but I think it would be such a liberating feeling! Funny how even our thoughts towards some things change as we start to make a commitment to this new lifestyle! Way to go!!!

Way to go Tulip that is wonderful!
