Hi, I have had my band removed last week due to complications.
Symptoms: Pain mimicking heart attack symptoms, Vomiting, lethargy, Easy to bruise,
Asymptomatic symptoms: Depression, Suicidal thoughts, Sheer frustrastion of not knowing what was going on with me.
Event: Raced to hospital from work thinking I was having a heart attack, Cardiac tests and bloods came back normal. Dr suggests ulstrasound to check for hyatus hernia etc..., Cyst found, Stomach had sliped back through band which was laying on top of cyst. Back to surgeon who removed band last week. In process of Biopsy next Friday and then will schedule removal of cyst.
My question is???? Are there any others of whom have had similar complications? Please contact me!!!!
I do not regret having the band in and have lost 17kg of which I am most pleased with. Happy to have the band out and have enjoyed my first steak since the band 2 years ago. Yeah!!!
Anyway would love to hear from anyone with any imput into my situation. Particularly fellow Aussies.:tongue_smilie:
