Hi from Western Australia

Hi all, congrats to all on the weight loss :tt1: I have just made the decision to be banded. I am booked in in 3 weeks... I am nervous as hell but know I am making the right decision. Just wondering if everyone told friends/family/collegues they were having it done or kept it hush hush? I have told a couple of people and everyone is sooooo negative about it! :tongue_smilie: So now I dont think I can be bothered with the bitching so am thinking of keeping it secret? Im not good at lying though, and how will I explain the sudden change it diet!

hi shanwa

congrats for making the decision to do this. im from nsw and i got banded in april i decided to only tell a few really close friends and family but most people didnt know i am slowly telling people as they are noticing the weight come off and asking wat i have been doing. unfortunately a lot of people dont understand the band and think it is the easy way out but they are so far from the truth you do have to work at it it doesnt do it for you it is a tool and if you dont use the tool like they tell you it wont work.

dont let those people discourage you this is the best thing you can do for yourself people can have opinions but in the long run you need to do wats best for you good luck with it all let us no how you go:thumbup:
