Good Afternoon Everyone,

Can someone give me some idea of how large the band opening is? I am eight weeks out, but have not needed a fill yet. I have lost 45 lbs and was just wondering. Forgot to ask my Doc.

I have a 10 cc band - I was told the opening was about the size of a dime before I got any restriction.

I have a 14 cc band and can eat normally, even after my 1st fill of 1 1/2 cc. Don't know how big around it is, actually, just that I can still eat anything I ever could and have no restriction yet.

I think it is comparable to my old stomach opening.

The band doesn't really form the "pouch", I was told, until they get it tightened a bit (think of a belt sitting around your waist and it fits but isn't cinched up yet)
