Welcome. It's a lot to think about. Make sure you check out the "age" groups. You will find a very active one for those of us in our "50s". People are friendly and will answer all your questions.

Hi the lapband will make a wonderful change in your life . I was banded July 21 this year and since then i have lost 50lbs woo hoo . It's great to fix is smaller clothes. If I can help just send me a message. God Bless Lynnlynn
