Hello New to site

Hi All, I am 2 months out of surgery....I am not sure about any of this, my weight loss or if symptons are normal. I have only lost 23 lbs in 2 months is that normal? Good? Bad? I have not had a fill yet, I get my first one Monday not really sure what to expect. Right now I dont feel any restriction it has been a struggle not to overeat. Any suggestions or help?

Your weightloss is fine. 23lbs in 2 months is great. I lost around the same amount in that time. You need to remember that with the band your doctor expects a weightloss of 1-2 lbs per week.

I have to agree, your weight loss is good, we were banded about the same time and that is about the same amount of weight I loss. I was at a stall for about 2 weeks, and was very disappointed for awhile, but then they kept telling me that this was very normal. I had my first fill on the 9th. So far I really cannot tell a difference, but I haven't overeaten either. So we will see what happens. He put 2.5 cc in the band.

Great, thank you all for the input. I dont have a support system here so kind of lost. There is a group that meets once a month but I am rarely able to make it. I get my first fill on the 13th so I hope that goes well. I have noticed that I get hungry faster now and am able to eat more. I freak out over streching my pouch.

How do I get the neat little count down meter?
