Hi everyone!

I came across this forum while looking up some other stuff today, glad I found it. I live in Darwin, Australia.

I am due to have my band put in on the 31st of this month, Halloween no less. I am really looking forward to having the band put in but am nervous about going into hospital and being away from my son and husband for two nights.

Looking forward to meeting others on line and making new friends.

I too am having the band on the 31st. I live in Washington state. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I was a litte reluctant to do it on that day, but I decided to look on the bright side and have a great aniversary date next year! My surgery is going to be outpatient, so I do not have to worry about my family. Just take advantage of being around people helping YOU. We always put our families first. It's all about you for now. Your family will benifit from it in the long run when your feeling better and HEALTHIER!
