vomiting after laying in bed?

I am 3 days post-op, when I sleep in my bed I get sick to my stomach when I wake up. Is this normal? When I sleep in the recliner I feel ok just a little nauseous. Will I ever be able to sleep in my bed again? I miss my soft bed.

:crying:

If I were you I would call my Doc ASAP. This does not sound to normal, did the Doc give you drugs to help keep you from getting nauseous I think most do.

Sounds like Acid Reflux to me. A PPI will help -- talk to your doctor to see which one he recommends or if he has a different idea of what it is.

Lying down actually makes me feel better--especially after eating. My doctor says it helps avoid "dumping" after eating. You should def.talk to your doctor about this.....

Thank-you fo your replies,

I talked to my doctor and he told me to come in on Monday morning to have a couple things adjusted as this was definetly not normal.
