Hello From Westchester County, NY

Hi,

This is my first time to this website so I wanted to say Hi to everyone and tell you that I am very inspired by your weight loss.

My question is I am a 43 year old woman with high cholestrol, sleep apnea and a borderline diabetic. I need to lose 60 lbs and have tried all the diets out there. Am I a candidate for adjustable lap band surgery? Also can anyone out there recommend any doctors in Westchester County or Manhattan?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Judy

HI, I know westchester medical has a bariatric program....i go to danbury hosp...they have a great program also...as far as if you are a candidate ...there are many factors taken in consideration...bmi,co-existing conditions(diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, etc. go to a seminar at one of these locations and i'm sure they will tell you right there...good luck.
