I was banded 2 days ago and everthing went well. Today I rose from a short nap and found my belly protruding on the left side of the belly button around the port. The area is large and feels like a basketball, but there is no pain except for carrying it around. I called my doctor and he said that it was probably some bleeding or a hematoma, but he said he had not had that complaint before. He said it will take a few weeks to go down.

Has anybody experienced this?

I noticed no one answered you on this one. You might want to try again in the Post-Op forum. Sometimes the Intro forum doesn't get a lot of traffic from the experienced bandsters.
