I had my band placed three days ago and have a massive bruise over the port site, has this happened to anyone else?

I am two weeks out, and the bruising is almost gone. My mom said it looked liked someone had punched me in the stomach, the bruising look awfull, but it does go away...

I had a bruise from a trocar, it lasted for about 3 months. The doc saw it and immediatley appologized for giving me the bruise. I have no idea why it lasted so long, but now I am fine (7 months out)

I'm 7 days post op, and am full of bruises... I have 6 holes, plus the IV (mine kept blowing 4 total), and where they gave me a blood thinner. So I have a total of 10 big old bruises.

they are quite normal my surgeon says.
