Banded March 18 and down 40lbs, I am sure I could of done better, but as I always say, I am headed in the right direction. My goal is to lose another 20 by next March, then in my second year lose the other 60. The reason I chose the band is because I want to be able to do some of my own work, my own discipline, and I think with the band you have to have your head in the right place. The band doesn't work only by itself, we need to work with it.

went from 228 to 189, that's a total of 41 and i'm in a size 14 squeezing into a 12...can't wait till I get to a size 8!!!

Hey all you great March bandsters... I'm glad to see this thread come up every once in a while. Its great to see how every one is doing.Which by the way is FANTASTIC!!!!!

My update: I'm 79 pounds down!!! I went from a size 24 to a 16 so far.

Just think in 4 months our 1 year bandiversary rolls around!!!!

:bump:

I was just thinking about our upcoming 1 year anniversary and thought I would bump our thread and see how everyone is doing.. I've been a little slow on the loosing but have finally hit 62 pounds gone this past week! I have recently started working out and have found myself in the gym at least 4 out of 7 days! I feel great, I'm down from a size 24 to a loose 18 tight 16. I can actually buy from a clearance rack now! *lol* How is everyone else doing?

I've been thinking about that too, TraumaNurse. I can't believe its almost been a year already!! Yesterday was exactly 11 months for me.

This morning I weighed in at 75.8kgs (167.1lbs). That's down 95lbs from this time last year .. I can't believe it!! I still don't see it when I look in the mirror. I see my sagging tummy, I see my massive thighs... I see everything but a shrinking body lol. But I guess that's what a good psychologist is for. I'm also going to take someone else's (sorry, for the life of me I can't remember who) suggestion of printing my before picture and pinning it up around the house/office to remind me of where I was.

I'm hoping I can drop another 5 lbs over the next month, as I'd like to say I lost 100lbs in a year.

Good to see how everyone is doing. Let's see here, at 8 months post op I was down 75lbs. Now I am 19weeks pregnant, and back up to 245 so that's a net loss of 60lbs. I must admit that I am a bit sad not to get to my goal of 100lbs loss by my 1 year anniversary March 30th. I'm already planning my post-baby weight loss :-)

~Parvathi~ WOW!! :clap2: :clap2: Congrats on your excellent weightloss! I am also struggling with the view in the mirror, just can't believe it's me... I bet you can get those 5 pounds to hit the 100# mark by march!

~Maysa~ Congratulations on your pregnancy!! Wishing you a happy and healthy nine months! You will rock at losing after the baby!

Well Here I come with another update I'm down 86 pounds now!!! I still have 14 pounds to hit 100.... don't think in 6 weeks I will make it!! Gonna give it my best shot! Bandiversary here I come!!! LOL!!!

Congratulations to all of you...everyone is doing great with lots of NSV's as well as lots of weight loss too!!

Well done, ladies!! Everyone's doing sooooo fantastic - March bandsters rock :) hehe

Crystal, remember .. that's 30lbs less than you were this time last year. That's also 10 months consecutively, in which you have NOT gained weight - you've lost. That's definitely an achievement! Go back and look through your NSV's - you are a success!

:bump:

Not sure how many of us '05 March bandsters are still active on the boards, but figured we hadn't checked in since last February, so it is time. :biggrin1:

I have been at the same weight give or take 2 pounds for the last 4-5 months. In August I had a horrible "stuck", which ended with me having 1.5cc's removed leaving me with just 1cc in my band. The surgeon wanted me to wait 2-3 weeks with no further fills to allow for healing, then after schedule complications I will finally get another fill in 2 days. I need to get my butt back in the gym, and eating the right way!

Hope everyone is doing well.
