Anyone in DFW area?

Hello Everyone! I am new to this site and wanted to say hello! I am 30 and I have been banded since sept 10th of 2007. I am almost to my goal weight and I am looking for friends/support groups because I want to keep my weight off for good. If you are in the DFW area I would be thrilled to hear from you!

Hi There! Yes, I am so proud of myself. You have already lost alot of weight yourself. Prior to being banded I wasn't able to keep the weight off. I was a yo-yo dieter and over the past year I have gone from my pre-op weight of 183lbs to 135. My goal is 120lbs and I have really cut my carbs so its now just started coming off slowly. Aunt Lucy do you attend any support groups. I am looking to start attending so that I can keep my motivation up and keep the weight off.

hi mandi - close stats / close time being banded ... DFW myself.

i've seen many attempts to get a group together, but nothing musters up...i only head north to visiti InLaws...LOL but would def be open to a group mtg.

i'm on a couple threads: food & nutrition / and the exercise threads that check accountability & motivation ..... go do a search on some..,
