I just had my band today. I have 5 incisions! I know at some point they mentioned this, but I can't remember it. Is this typical?

Yes, it's typical. Anything from 4-6

I had 5 incisions.

I had nine incisions--which is very atypical. Five is the norm and four is pretty much minimal.

Yes, I have 5 also. They are almost gone except for the port site. Has anyone tried using those silicone scar sheets? They're about $14 at the grocery store, to help reduce the scarring.

Congrat new BANDSTER! I was banded on Sept. 9th and I have a total of 5 incisions, 4 are pretty small but one is a little longer than the others but thats probably were my port is.

I have six, all are about 1/2" except for the port site which is about an inch.
