I haven't done it but I have read that the best means is to establish a medical history with issues that could be resolved with a TT. For instance, if you have any kind of rash or discomfort due to the pannus, go see your pcp and have it documented and get treatment for it.

It is important to establish a history of issues, you won't get it covered if you don't have something documented before you get it done.
