Hi All,

I'm Stephanie from Ohio. I have no yet had surgery and actually have a two month wait for my first consultation. If all goes well I will be having my surgery with Dr. Vanek in Youngstown, OH. I thought this would be the best place to find answers and even some support from time to time. A little about me: I'm 23 and still in college. Over all I'm quiet but tend to have an offbeat sense of humor. I hope to hear from and get to know you all.

I am also from Ohio! I am going to college near Dayton. I am having my surgery in KY though! I hope all goes well with your progress. I have my surgeon consult next Wed! Keep us posted!:sad:

My name is Chris and I am actually being banded by Dr vanek on Sept 30th! He is a good doctor and I was very comfortable with him! Everyone at the weight loss center is wonderful and I think you are making a good decision! Be prepared for a lot of work in getting ready for the surgery! I am not trying to scare you , but just be ready! If you ever want to talk or have questions let me know! Good luck! When is your initial consult? That is a long appt but very informative!
