Well we finally had our second psych eval this morning. The dr almost didn't approve my husband because the hospital that he is going to is 2 1/2 hours away. The dr was insistant that my husband find a regular psych dr. Neither one of us are too fond of psychs. Has anyone else come across this? I am looking for a support group in our area (Morris, IL). The dr did approve him though. For that, I am thankful.:shades_smile:

Did he say WHY he wanted your DH to go to a psych doc?

And fyi...like any professional...you need to find one you like, one who works for you. It's like a hairdresser...one or two bad hair cuts shouldn't put you off all of them! Just keep looking until you find a fit!

I personally went to 10 months behavioral therapy on my own before I even thought of getting the band, and it was very very helpful.
