I am from Elizabeth, WV and am going to the Seminar next week. I have bcbs insurance and was told that I have to pre-certify for the surgery. My question is to anyone and I am sure you are tired of answering these but I haven't got a doctor. What are the steps I need to take for the pre certification and Is doctor Kaplan good and is the surgery worth it?

Dr. Kaplan is a good doctor, he did my banding in April and I have never looked back since I have had it done. He will help you anyway he can, when you are having problems all you have to do is call him. You will find he is very caring.

with bc/bs you need a referral and you see a dietician for 6 months and of course you have a psych eval. But it goes by quickly and is well worth the wait. If you have anymore questions feel free to e-mail me at jjcoen@hotmail.com
