Banded on August 20th

Hello everyone,

My name is Amanda, I am 30 years old and I got the Lapband last week on August 20th at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. The crazy gas pains have subsided a bit and I am more mobile now. I am having headaches, but I assume that is due to lack of calories. I am trying to make sure I drink my 2 Protein shakes per day and have been drinking a Soup or two during the day. I know this will all get better with time, just looking forward to that time!!

Hi, Amanda!

HoOrAy for you! Good luck...let's do this together!

My name is Kim, I am 31 yrs old and I was banded on 8/20 as well! I am not in too much pain anymore, just sore and the shoulder pain is just about gone. I'm a little worried, though, because I am getting hungry between meals already. In fact, I ate some solid food tonight and did not feel tight or sick at all. =(

hi Kim,

how are you feeling today? i am feeling better. just had my morning Protein shake. I am not feeling hungry between really, but if people are eating around me, I do with I could have some. But I have not slipped yet and eaten anything. I am too afraid of having my stomach have to churn something up to digest it and it affect the pouch. I am much more afraid of that than anything. What types of Snacks are you eating?
