Hey everyone. I thought it would be great to start a thread for all the people getting banded in October. My surgery date is October 3rd and im sooo excited. I can't wait to hear from everyone.<br />

I am counting down now. Tomorrow is Oct. 1st and I get banded Oct. 3rd. I am so excited. I wish I could go to sleep and wake up on Oct 3rd and not have to count down the hours.

Everyone else~it won't be long now!!

It was only about 6 weeks ago that I decided to have a consult to get banded. I waited a few weeks and dropped $150 and then found out that insurance is a no go....so then I did more research and found Dr. Kirshenbaum in Denver and made another consult appt and scheduled my surgery. Now I have less than a month to go. Part of me (a big part..pardon the pun) is afraid that this won't work. That part of me is almost afraid to get too excited.

The other part of me can't believe that I am getting ready to start this VERY IMPORTANT step into the rest of my life.

I want to start singing......I'M SO EXCITED.....AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT.....

Bimbabe-congrats on your 10 lb loss! Whoo hoo! Just that much closer to your goal. :cursing: I started my pre op diet this morning with an Atkins shake. It's not bad. Wish me luck!

Hello Annecolorgreen, I think I might have been Rickysmom on sbd or I was Infaith8? Something like that... but it was very nice being on there and all of the friendships that were developed!!

Ok so is anyone buying certain things? I just came back from target, and bought the following: three yoga pants, two pair of sexy sweat pants, two hoodies, flintstone vitamins(wow almost $7.00 back in my younger days those were waaay cheaper lol, inflation eh) and some chap stick. I also bought some pjs for my hospital stay since I am staying over night. This is awesome and I am excited.

I hope that we all become a support system!
