I cant wait

I am scheduled for my lapband surgery on 08/27. I am very excited about having the surgery. I do not know yet how much weight I want to lose I just know I need to lose weight. My friend just got banded and so far her experience has been good. She is not sore and was up and about the day after surgery. I have to be on a liquid diet 2 weeks before my surgery and it has been the hardest thing Ive ever done. Im not hungry but all I can think about it food. So far I have done really good and have not cheated.

Well I have a few days to go and Im getting nervous now. I just don’t know how im going to feel or what to expect. Everyone that I know that has been banded has taken it differently. I know everyone is different and the recovery will be different for everyone but I think I would be less nervous if I knew exactly what to expect. I hope these next couple days go by fast and the 27th hurries up and gets here cause Im starting to lose patience. Im still on my liquid diet and doing well. In the past couple days I have just been drinking water and eating yogurt. I can’t stand the taste of jello anymore and the cream soups are not doing it for me.
