Getting banded August 18th--EEKS!

I am so excited and nervous at the same time! I hope I'm not 1 out of the 2000 that die from this procedure! I'm nervous to leave my husband with two children under 2 1/2 (if something bad should happen to me). Hopefully these scary thoughts are normal! I'm sure things will be fine and my doctor hasn't had anyone die. I will find out today the definate time of my procedure on Monday!

Yes the scary thoughts are very normal. Good luck on Monday. I know it is a platitude but you will do fine. I was just banded 2 days ago and already I feel much better.

I am having the same thoughts! I have a 3 year old at home and my husband would have no clue how to take care of him without me. I want to be healthy to live longer for my son, so we are making the right choice.
